Nelson Cruz Sampaio Neto

Over the last ten years, Nelson Neto has focused his research on developing and providing free tools and resources for building automated written and spoken language processing systems. More recently, he has also been devoting himself to hardware and software development for biomedical systems and assistive technology. He has supervised 15 master’s theses since 2012. He was responsible for the Master’s degree in Computer Science at the Institute of Exact and Natural Sciences in 2012-14. He leads the FalaBrasil team since 2009.

Cassio Trindade Batista

He has a BSc degree in Computer Engineering (2016) and a MSc degree in Computer Science (2017) conferred by Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Brazil. He’s also spent one year (2014) as exchange student at the Óbuda University (OE) in Budapest, Hungary. Currently, He is a PhD student in Computer Science at UFPA, in Brazil. Some of his professional experiences include speech recognition for desktop, mobile and embedded platforms; as well as in developing alternative control interfaces for people with disabilities.

Erick Modesto Campos

Graduated in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2018). He is currently a master student in Computer Science at the Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGCC) of the Federal University of Pará. Has experience in developing alternative control interfaces for people with disabilities; and head gesture recognition for desktop and embedded system applications. Research lines: assistive technology, human-computer interaction.

Ana Larissa da Silva Dias

She has a BSc degree in Computer Engineering (2018) conferred by Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Brazil. She’s also spent one year (2014-2015) as exchange student at Stony Brook University(SBU) in New York, United States. Currently, She is a MSc student in Computer Science at UFPA, in Brazil. She has experience in speech recognition.

Daniel Santos Santana

He is a BSc student in Computer Science (2015-Today) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), Brazil. Worked on a crossword grapheme to phoneme converter and back end development in node.
